On the forum I follow at http://www.woodturnersresource.com/ those who manage this forum issue a chalenge and trade every once in a while. The latest challenge was to make a goblet and embelish it somehow. How to embelish our own goblet was up to the individual wood turner. I decided to use various types of wood and created what is pictured below. Made (from top to bottom) Walnut, Butternut, Walnut, Maple, Walnut. It is about 6" X 2 13/16".

That is a really cool Goblet. It is awesome that you can do other things with your tools too.
I love the goblet dude! How many differnt kinds of wood are in this one?
